This is KidzArt!
KidzArt students will gain valuable skills, HAVE FUN, and feel uplifted as their confidence SOARS with KidzArt — a drawing-based art education program for “kids of all ages.” By using our simple, drawing method and weekly format, KidzArt allows the student to produce original works of art, complimented with artistic projects and exposure to many mediums, while enhancing creative self-expression in all areas.
With KidzArt, your students will:
- Produce original representational art in 1-4 classes.
- Learn in a non-competitive environment which allows creativity to flow easily.
- Complete art projects that enhance the students’ drawing skills and are simple, fun and get great results.
- Use high quality art materials and supplies that are used by artists!
- Learn to think creatively — outside the box.

Tucson East — Maureen Shields, Franchise Owner
KidzArt is so much more than an art class. For Maureen Shields, KidzArt is the coming together of a life-long passion for art and a successful career in marketing and business management. A graduate of Tucson’s Sabino High School and the University of Arizona with a BA and MBA, Maureen is excited to be bringing KidzArt home to Tucson.
Tucson West — Misty Wick, Franchise Owner
Misty has always had a love for the arts and education and is very
excited about introducing KidzArt to Tucson. She is a strong
believer that developing an appreciation and exploring the arts is
essential in the development of a more complete individual. An
artist herself, Misty has an extensive background in the arts with a
special interest in drawing and photography. She is a graduate of
University of Arizona with a BA in Fine Arts and is also certified to teach art in the
State of Arizona, K-12. Prior to KidzArt, Misty taught high school art in Phoenix for
10 years. There is an artist inside of everyone!!
KidzArt Instructors
Your KidzArt class will be taught by one of our talented Certified Instructors (CIs). Each comes to KidzArt with an enthusiastic desire to help children
learn to draw and to gain self-confidence in a safe and nurturing
environment! KidzArt instructors are trained to teach a variety of art
techniques and concepts – and mostly, to help create a life-long appreciation
for the arts with all of our students.
TEACH KIDS ART!!
We are always looking for part-time instructors! Classes are usually offered Monday through Friday between 2-4 pm, with some daytime and weekend classes possible. Will train. Must be dependable, reliable, energetic, love kids and be creative/artistic. Some teaching experience a plus. For more information please submit our online contact form.
